That counts. Most outages are staffed by contractors. Contractors make up a good percentage of the routine workers. A lot of people make their living as a road worker, going from plant to plant as a contractor. That’s how I met my wife, she was a contractor. San Onofre, I spent a couple of months there as a contractor as well. The twin sisters.I've never been a direct employee but have done contract work at the Diablo Canyon and San Onofre facilities on the west coast several times.
