Any pinball fans in Phoenix attending Zapcon?

Interesting, my Wife bought me this little gem some 32 years ago.

EM man, myself. Have a half dozen. '73-'77. Won't be heading to AZ anytime soon. tho.

Lost track of how many hours I spent cleaning it up and getting it working correctly after finishing the basement 2 years back...

I doubt anyone under the age of 50 can appreciate a good pinball machine........ my older sister owned a roller skating rink, I worked the snack bar from age 12-16; spent a whole lotta time in the game room playing pinball......... favorite machine was Mata Hari

I'm partial to the Williams Comet/Cyclone series to include Gorgar, Firepower, Pinbot Et Al, High Speed, and Taxi.

I had no idea Williams, Bally, Stern, Seeburg, all related

Just picked up a '78 Bally Playboy. Decent original needing only a new mpu board, rubbers, and cleaning. Pretty much the same build quality as my '58 Seeburg 201. Love the old school stuff.

That's a nice rare Mata Hari. I haven't seen an EM version in 20 years.
I was more of a Bobby Orr's Power Play fan. My favorite EM was Wizard! from Bally.

Not going to Mesa, but seemed like a good place to show my old Gottlieb wedgehead. Sits between the tool room and the beer fridge, next to the Coronet, and gets played a lot by visitors.

I played a lot in college. I've been listening to Tommy by The Who. done by The London Symphony Orchestra. In this version Rod Stewart sings Pinball Wizard.
