Been getting emails from Rigid Axle offering rear axle components. Anyone dealt with them?

Its odd that all their r&p are GM ratios... but I DO have an 8.75 in 3.36 out of a /6 with 4 speed and towing package.

My 65 Belvedere 225 slant 3 on the tree had 3.36. Not many around. Sold it,should of kept it...

Imo, the /6 needed a 3.36 or even a 3.55. My V6 Dakotas need a 3.90 at least! I put a pair of pretty short tires on my 95 a few years ago and it woke up! They both have 3.55's and with 185/70's on the back, the beater liked them but it looked goofy.

My Coronet has 2.94's. Should be a great hwy cruiser with the 318/833OD and 225/75- 15's. That 3.09 first gear will be a welcome addition.

But, I may, use that 3.36 set after I get sick of the 90 mph @ 2200 rpm cruising!!!!

I wish I had that rpm when I drove my F350 home from California with its C6 and 4.10 rears on the stock 225/70-16 tires. I cruised at 62 mph@3000 revs.

The last Peterbilt I owned had a 3.36 rear with a .79 overdrive 15 speed. Ran 75 mph@ 1250 revs. Very comfy.

Some of us are aged. Some of us bear aged components. Some of them vintage, and require (blue pill) additives...
wait, what are we talking about?
