I almost bought/mined some around 2014.

Right after that it tumbled.

Of course, now it's up a hundred fold.

...and therein lies the rub- it's highly, repeat HIGHLY subject to speculative surges in both directions.

Right, because only the people investing in it give it value. You are buying nothing, nothing! If someone invested and made money and got out, bully for them! I refuse to buy something that doesn't exist or isn't linked to a corporation that makes something. Just my personal mantra.

Nx, I have to ask: How do you feel about the current US Dollar, the Federal Note ? It's no longer backed by Oil Purchasing, as that Ended last June, so what value does it have, as they just keep printing more when they need them, thus the devaluation, and Record Inflation. The Interest on the Debt will Bankrupt the Nation, so a change is needed very quickly...

What Country ? The Central Banks own it. That means the Rothschild's have a Heavy Hand on it. The USA is just borrowing it, with interest on every dollar. The FED is Not the Govt.
As far as crypto, No Clue who backs it, but we may find out soon. These all may be worthless soon. A lot of Nations have gone to Sovereign Asset Backed Currency, and the cryptos may just be the Unit to perform Worldwide trade. We've been waiting to see what will be used to carry Our Nation, so it's close to Showtime...
