anybody have a Milwaukee M12 Air Compressor?

Wondering how well they work for a hobbyist. i.e. car and pickup tires. Going afield far from power or compressor sources. It could be handy for topping off machines around the place as I warm them up or get them ready to drive. They say it will fill an LT tire in less than 4 minutes and with an auto shut off, I can do other things while the tires inflate. Don't expect miracles, especially with 12 volt, but my M12 polisher and 3/8 ratchet perform great.

I have this and is apart of my emergency tool kit. It does work well to inflate tires and I could typically get 10-15 psi into all four tires on one battery and still have enough juice left over. I also got a carrying case off of amazon that has enough room for that inflator, charger, probably more than one battery (i only carry one) and when I go on a long trip it fits my stubby impact gun that runs on the same battery.

it does have an auto shut off that works. It also has other attachments that can be used to inflate balls and other pool/beach/lake inflatables.

I never tried it to inflate 4 truck tires from 15-20 psi after going from sand on a beach to the road pressures. Im sure it would do it. I just dont know if I could do it on one battery depending on tire size and pressure.

Have 2 - one for my daughter. No complaints other that use a bigger battery. Kills the small batteries pretty quick.

I have that one and use it all the time. Mostly for airing up low tires; if they're flat, I use my large compressor. Truck and larger tires are a stretch, since the manual calls out to only let it run for 10 minutes before letting it cool for another 10. If you need a large volume, the M18 unit is the ticket.

I have the larger M18 version and really like it. They occasionally go on sale for a good price at Home Depot. Black Friday is approaching, so I would look around for some potential sales.

Owned one for about (2) years now.
It comes standard with a 1.5AH battery IIRC.
I bought a couple of 3AH batteries for this and to use in other M12 tools that I own also.
The 3AH batteries really make a difference in run time if you have several tires you're topping off, especially larger truck tires.

Just bought the Milwaukee 18v with 2 5Ah batteries and a charger for $193 total from Home Depot. Some good sales right now.

I have both the M12 and M18. I prefer the M12, but am happy with both and recommend them. On the M18, the battery got stuck and had to squirt some wd40 in the rails to get it out.
