I saw a craigslist add for some 16" torque thrusts and was contemplating a purchase. I go back and forth on whether to get 15s or 17s. There doesn't seem to be many, if any, examples at all of what 16s look like on our cars. If you got em, I'd love to see a picture. Thanks

I have 16" Magnum 500 on my 73 Roadrunner. Got them back in 2009 from Specialty Wheel in California. Been comtemplating going with 18 on the rear and 17 on the front but haven't yet decided. I have 16" BF Goodrich G Force Radials for rubber.

I would use 16's in a heart beat. Plenty of tire selection.

I've got 16x8s in the back (15x7 in front) WheelVintiques steelies. The 265/60 16" BFGs I use are, unfortunately discontinued....VERY unfortunate because they fit perfectly.

16's look so natural you almost have to measure them to be sure they are not 15's. I run 17's they are a little more obvious, I thought about 18's but IMO they can start to look a little clownish.

I had settled on 16s for a while and am now leaning towards the 17-18 inch look on my 68. Damn rim and tire debate. It's like old women discussing shoes.

LOL!!!!! Do these rims make me look fat??

I actually like the look of 17s and had been planning on going that route when my project is done, however the U-Shaped fenders on the 71-72s is in my opinion is a design that is kinda difficult to select wheel & tire sizes for....as there is a lot of empty space to fill due to the corners. 17s would look good with a taller tire, but I was just curious if the 16s would bring about a good compromise of stock vs. a slightly modern look. thanks & keep those pictures coming.

I'm running 16 x 8's off of a crown victoria, don't have pictures of them on the car but the offset makes them fit very well.

They are identical to these:
