I'm not real familiar with them and can't find a lot of info about them other than their own website.

Anyways I found a brand new 498ci version for sale locally
498 ci, 4.380 bore by 4.15 inch stroke, Ross 10.5 to 1 forged pistons, Cat 4340 H-beam rods, Eagle forged crank, Comp Extreme Energy hyfraulic cam 294/306 duration 519/524 lift. Bulldog Track Dog aluminum ported heads. Indy single plane MaxWedge port window intake.
The best part he said it made 625hp/640tq on the dyno. :headbang: I'm just wondering if anyone has ran one or have any experience with one?
btw I've never heard of bulldog track dog aluminum heads??

Purchased a 1964 Dodge 440 htp from Canton, MI, last year with a Muscle Motors 496 stroker motor which had been changed from a single 4 bbl to a 6 pack. As the seller said the build was years old, I pulled the engine and took it to Muscle Motors in Lansing Michigan who freshened the internals and installed a proper cam for the six pak-had Indy heads and made 598 hp/667torque at 5300 rpm on the dyno.
I have nothing but good to say about Muscle Motors, Lansing, Michigan -
Talk to Eric and you can mention my name-Ron-Ontario, Canada, as he is very good to answer any questions. Hope that helps

Thanks, That's good to hear! I'm going later today to check it out and if all seems well ill buy it and bring it home. He's asking 4,800obo still has tape and sitting in the crate. I ran it by MM and they said it is possibly one of their older builds as they don't use those heads anymore. I hate spending that kind of money but that's probably what I would have paid to build a mild 440...

The only Bulldog heads I ever heard of were for Oldsmobiles. Made blocks too....but not more than two or three I think.

I hope they aren't oldsmobile haha. I actually came across this thread http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/showthread.php?22674-Bulldog-Cylinder-Heads some people hate them and some people loved them... Apparently the guy who made them was one of the head guys at Indy and decided to start his own company. So they can't be all that bad... I hope.
Anyways I bought it and brought it home. I also bought a racing trans he had built for it. I'm very excited, can't wait to get it in the car and down the track.
