I think he said assembly line fuel pump picture or pump. Thought you could shed light on the ‘picture’ part with a picture of the airtex unit you found on your new to you bird..

Oops, my misunderstanding. This original Airtex pump on my '69 Rod Runner is a more unusual bolt-together pump versus the more common crimped-together pump. This pump is not the same as the Carter pump used on Hemis.

Dave ...... suggestion..... Go to Justin's 69 GTX thread for the love of my father...... very detailed engine pictures there of a 69 GTX 440 4-speed restoration.... He tried to do everything assembly line correct

thanks, I been going thought that post to find the fuel pump. Have not found it yet

double hose? Mine is hose inlet and steel line outlet. none serviceable

I questioned this pump also, and while it is not a common pump, it has been verified to be the original factory pump and is stamped 1069 which is the 106th day in 1969....April 16th, 1969.

I just remembered that I have a new Carter pump if this is what your looking for....

That one takes the adapter fitting. I am trying to find what came on a 69 440 4 barrel motor from the assembly line. Both those pumps above to me does not seem correct.

You need to post a picture for us to see what you're talking about. :D

I was hoping some one had original one. To me this style would be correct but I am not sure
The steel line screws right into the pump, no adapter fitting.

This one is like yours that needs the fitting adapter
