Anyone have a B3 blue car or have thoughts on that color?

23-

yep B3 changed to be corporate/Petty blue

prior to that IIRC corporate blue was a special order color.

My red charger was originally B3 blue. Someone else repainted it in California more then 28 years ago before I bought it. I am torn when it comes time to repaint it. I like the red, but would like it the original blue also.
I completely understand where you are coming from!

my road runner is stock b3 with b7 gut i don't like either color so it will be ralley green with black gut
Sorry, but I am not familiar with the term "gut", what does that mean? I also like greens, would love to see your car when it is painted!

My Charger was originally B3 blue, though the previous owner had repainted it a non-factory darker blue before I originally bought it. I know it was B3 because they only painted the exterior, so the trunk, under the vinyl top, and other hidden places were still B3.

I thought about going back to B3, but was never a big fan. I thought it was too light and didn't show the lines very well. After going back and forth on various colors (Yellow, Q5 Turquoise, B5), I eventually chose 1968 LL1 Turquoise. My car has no build sheet, fender tag, nor was anything numbers matching, so I decided to go with my gut and choose something different (Pics attached)

Your daughter and her car are both beautiful! She is a lucky girl to have that car! I think you are right Jim, I believe I will be going with B3. I am planning to document the process as much as possible. I know I am a dumbass to spend this much money on a 4 door, but I have decided to keep this car, so I would like it to be decent.

I had a B3 blue ‘70 four door Coronet. Looked good, had a B5 blue interior. I just today sent the fender tag and build sheet to a guy out east. I have a few pix I can send if you want.
Please do post the pics!

Not in the least bit. 4 doors are great cars!! And almost always seem to be in better shape than their 2 door companions.

I love four door and wagons also but every time I find one I like people want 2 door money for them.
