Anyone have any idea what these headers are? Might be Mopar Hemi... Or not...

Buddy of mine recently bought a whole warehouse full of parts through an estate... There is a lot of Mopar stuff including Hemi stuff but there's also Ford, Chevy, Pontiac, Etc.... These headers are strange, flat collectors with pan evac check valves.. Port flanges might be Hemi or could be BBC.... Or????

Anyone ever seen something like this before? Know what they are? What they fit?

The port layout looks like Cleveland Ford. Ignition might be a Prestolite unit.

I have seen the flat collector before..... but I don't remember where. (Nascar?)
They do look like gen2 hemi to me.

Edit, checked hemi bolt pattern. Not hemi. Looks like big block Chevy to me.
Did you google the Mopar part number on the ign box? (Prestolite 68 hemi transistorized ign module)

Nice box! The headers look they would fit a GM chassis to me.

In this warehouse there are three 351 Cleveland 4 bolt main blocks.... But, there are five sets of BBC rectangular port heads & three four bolt main BBC blocks... There are four sets of obvious Hemi headers, but with these headers I didn't know if maybe the D5 heads had a different bolt pattern... I saw a set of flat collector headers on a Mopar (Direct Connection) Kit Car back in the 80's...

There was two Hemi crossram intakes, one is magnesium... Just a ton of stuff...
Yet the guy who owned all this stuff was homeless... Lived in a Conex box....

The flat header collectors remind me of those used on the Ford 429 Grand National cars back in the day, but the header flange pattern looks to be big block Chevy, so that's my guess.

I recognize the ignition module as my Hemi Dart has one.

I believe blue ones are later, post 67/68

There are black ones that are earlier.

See the 2 blue ones in nascar cars as one was a backup.

Some pretty cool stuff! Hopefully the man had a decent funeral. I know many folks that appear to have nothing but could walk up with cash and buy anything they want and the some.

Sounds like a nice collection of stuff there Randy. BTW, I was somewhat in the hood Wednesday. Drove my old speed shop boss up to Oakdale to pick up 22 drums of 110 octane race gas.

Should have called, I'd have bought ya lunch...

He bought. Hit the cheese factory in Hilmar on the way back. Had a great time hanging out with him. Portagee version of Bill Jenkins. To me at least. Smart mofo. But I'll see you in May.

Cleveland I'd assume (351 ?), seems like smaller tubes...

I wonder what that type of collector would do 'the kill or make (?) HP'
after watching Engine Masters & their show on collector styles

Good question. It might depend on which tubes/cylinders are paired in the collector. But, I suspect if it really worked..... wouldn't they all be that way?
And I may be wrong but the tube entry looks HUGE to me for a Cleveland. (4bbl clevelands had huge intake ports, but miserable exhausts. If that's a cleveland header, Id bet it killed power! )
