Hi Guys
Has anyone tried this....

Just wondering how hard this will be to steer with manual steering.
The car (going together now), Aluminium Hemi 572, T56 Magnum 6-speed, Dana 60. So while not as heavy as factory still reasonably heavy car.

Help, feedback, comments appreciated!

Like any other Mopar with manual steering it will be a pain at extremely low speeds. Once moving it won't be a problem

Years ago (when I had arms) I actually yanked the power steering out of my '70 RR sixpack car, I doubt that hemi is any heavier. I ran a chrome aftermarket wheel, was considerably smaller than the factory wheel. I'll admit I didn't parallel park it much but it wasn't THAT bad.

Front end alignment makes a TREMENDOUS difference. Find someone who knows what they are doing.

My 70 Road Runner 440 is a pain in the a**, or more correctly in the arms, in parking lots and in and out of the garage with the manual steering. Not a problem on the road. I'm not as young as I used to be, so power rack and pinion here we come!

Got manual steering in my big block coronet with skinnys and it is not bad. I don't look for a place to parallel park.

Yup. Skinny bias plys are much easier to deal with that radials.....skinny OR fat
