'73 Road Runner. Originally a 400 with A/C and P/S. Now has a 1970 440 and no A/C. It has the '73+ water pump housing. Need a pic of the P/S bracket setup for a Federal pump; specifically, what the rear mounts to (the water pump housing, the block, something else?) I don't know if I even have the correct rear bracket. Heard later blocks had a provision on them where it mounts? Here's what I have... Thank you.

About 30 yrs ago, we had to drill out a boss on the block above the oil pump for my cousins 74 400 no ac car. That's about all I got.

Yeah, just looked over at my 383 and it has threaded bosses built into an extra casting on the block that this 440 just does not have. Without the extra casting with bosses, not sure what I would drill into without actually penetrating the block itself. The power steering pump on the '73 and later years sits lower in the engine, so what would I need to change out to convert to something that works without the bosses (something pre-73, I presume)? I imagine in the end, the pump would sit higher like previous years and would (probably) to change the water pump housing (and thus radiator), belts, hoses, pulleys, etc.
