Anyone install B&M Star Shifter in their B body?

Looking to install this shifter into 69 Super Bee, looking to see if anyone has experience this in their b body?

How did you route the cable?
Is there linkage to remove from column shifter?
Did it mount directly to floor, or needed floor modification?
What size hole for the cable?

Presently bench, but will be buckets

You might want to wait until you do the bucket seats so you get it mounted in the right place the first time…

Put it wherever it's most comfortable for you with the seat adjusted to where you like it.

If that shifter is anything like my Quicksilver, the way the cable connects to the shifter will dictate where you drill the hole.

In my case, the hole was drilled slightly forward of the shifter base. The cable runs through the tunnel toward the engine, then curves back around to connect to the shift lever on the transmission.
I've actually zip-tied my cable to the transmission cooler line to keep it off the header but your application may be different....

Ok, i thought the shifter had to be on a precise location on the floor in order for the cable to reach the transmission. I did find the cable gets installed from the front of the tranny?

Ok…. So if choose any shifter location, i should have enough cable to reach tranny?
