Looking for around a 6500 trade. Located in Iowa. To much and to many new parts to list. This is a good, nice driver.

thats really nice for the money i don't think i'd trade a mopar for a ford but if i liked my old lady i'd buy it for her but thank god i don't

You never know. I have a 500 inch stroker and looking for a roller to put it in. Soooo I am going to try to sell the Mustang. If it don`t, I will drive it as a everyday car. It would last a few winters before the new stuff started rusting. Then it will be a RUSTANG! As of now, there no rust holes anyplace and was a Texas car.

If it came from along the Texas coast, it could rusty underneath lol. In the mid 70's, I had 5 Mustangs all from the area and all had some rust and the ones from Galveston looked like they came from the snow belt! I would use it as a daily driver too but garage it at night to keep the dew off of it. They like to rust under the cowl vent and then leak water onto your feet. I'm just outside of Houston on the east side but only 9 miles from Galveston Bay and we get a heavy dew most nights...except for when we are in a drought like now...

I will run it up to my brother in laws shop, put it on a lift and take photos. Nothing to hide here. There may be surface rust as does any 51 year old car, but no crusty holes and is darn nice.

Not saying yours is rusty....but many think because it came from Texas, they are like cars from Arizona and many are but the ones from where I am usually rusted. My 66 Belvedere came from Bremond Tx which is dead in the middle of the Houston, San Antonio, Dallas/Ft Worth triangle and is basically without rust but it still has couple of small spots....like you say, hard for a 50+ year old car not to have some somewhere....

Nope, I know and understand Cranky! Here is where it lives lol. It is heated and air conditioned heh heh. If I sell it, I will be installing a new lift!

Just sent a pm about the Mustang. I had a 66 it was my first car and always liked the 65's and 64 1/2.

I have a 70 Coronet R/T project car.

Sold yet or no?

I'm not trying to bring the thread off topic, but where did you get that center console?
Its a pretty nice fit in there, and I've got a buddy who has a Rustang and has been searching around for interior options.

Thanks!
That looks like a really nice car, and I envy your garage!

Thanks everyone. I sold the car. The console is from a Mustang mag. My garage is getting there. Still need to fininsh painting, installing my lift and finishing up the furnace.

Nope, the old 49 isn`t for sale. It`s our rod. F.I. 318,overdrive, 411`s. It sits on a 94 Dakota chassis. Someone would have to want that one real bad because we love it and would drive it any place. It runs that good.

if the floors/frame and trunk are good, that car is worth 6500 all day...

congratulations on wanting to step up to a MOPAR.....( they all come around sooner or later). nice car by the way,,,,but it sure aint no Road Runner!...(beep-beep) !
