Anyone know the difference with these shock plates???

So in the picture here, the shock plate on the left is from another set i just picked up and the one on the right is what came off my 73 RR.

Differences

Left side plate has a Chrysler part number and the pentastar, and the plate has a slight curve on the bottom.

Right side plate has only a partial part number, and no pentastar, and is flat on the bottom

Anyone know what the difference is, i.e., different year, make and model, truck, car, aftermarket?

by looking at them i woild say the right one is an aftermarket part.no penstar and bad # stamping are good signs of that.also,aftermarket stuff tends to have cleaner stamp lines.(if you look at the corner next to the shock stud,it is an almst perfect 90 degree vs the penstar marked one just kinda makes a turn to create the corner)
