Anyone know this Coronet Wagon

Factory big block 383 wagons aren't too rare, but like Rusty, I have never heard of a 4 speed version. Unfortunately, the chances of finding it are very slim. Having a highly optioned wagon only hurts it's chances of survival because of the many people that look at the car just to part it out. If it were a small block/auto version, it is more likely to have been left alone. This is what happened to the '57 Chryslers. Most were crushed long ago just to pull the 392 hemi for some other project. Now it is very hard to find a restorable car.

I would definitely get ahold of another '66 wagon and go for it. Here is a picture of my wagon that I drive and hope my kids will keep for themselves some day. Good luck.

My father special ordered this 66 Coronet 440 station wagon at Cherry Hill Dodge in NJ.
It featured a 383 and 4 speed trans and pretty much every high performance option and bench seat.
It was obviously customized with the brown textured paint and bright hugger orange paint, functional scoops, side pipes, javelin grill, corvette taillights with clear lenses for turnsignal and single low/high headlights.

It was sold in the early 70's. Curious to know if it is still out there, somewhere, in any condition.

VIN Found!!

1966 dodge coronet WH45G61284746
Found the original finance contract for the Coronet

Can anyony help find out where it was registered last.................?

This was the ad he made when he was sold it in 1972 or 1973

Very Cool, It looks like the Hot Rod "Family Truckster", Dad wanted to play a little sometimes & serve the purpose of hauling around the "whole the family well too"...

I remember my dad telling me the dealer tried not accept the car when it was taken off the rollback.
The manager was saying " nobody orders a 4 speed wagon and I don't want that sitting on my lot" Luckily the salesman got wind the car was there and showed the manager that someone actually did!

I love your car! Almost bought a 68 Coronet Wagon 383 in this shape, gold also, that someone had put a 4 speed in and it was in similar shape for $1,800. still a little sore at the wife for putting the ca-bosh on that one, although it was ultimately my decision and i had about 4 Mopars at the time so I let it go :)

I know finding this wagon is worse than
Looking for a needle in a haystack.
But to clone another wagon would be $$$$
