Anyone know where I can buy new front and rear bumpers for 67 coronet?

I have seen a few on ebay, but wondered if there was a better option. Unfortunately rechroming is virtually non existent here in Finland, due to regulations. SO sending bumpers abroad and then shipping them back means I might be better of just buying new ones that have already been rechromed.

Let me know what you find. I could use some new ones too as mine are not awesome. I need to weld up a hole and have them re-chromed or something. But at least they are straight.

If you do the the 'glass bumpers, you can still have them look like chrome. I've had good results with chrome paint by KemChrome (the KK-01 and 03) http://shop.thecoatingstore.com/KemKhrome-Chrome-Paint_c9.htm

I know all about that system. It is really, really dangerous to do. The chemicals involved are nothing new, in fact they have been doing this for many years..The process is the same as they use to make mirrors.

The only problem with it..It is soft. SO you need to clear coat afterwards. But for a bumper the prospects of it looking good for a long time are not very good. Stone chips will tear into it easily. The process is more for show cars.

there are 2 re chromers that I've used over the past 40 yrs. the best one is Cambridge custom chrome in Cambridge Ont. CA. they are great . they have a web site. the other one is the bumper shop inc. 1-800-81-4421 I traded my old bumpers for my 65 satellite. the bumpers were $650.00for a set.
