Mine has headrestsI don't believe I have ever seen one with headrests
I know headrests did not become mandatory until late '69. But certainly doesn't mean they didn't exist. It looks great. My '69 GTX does not. And sure enough it was an earlier production build in '69. I think they add more interior appeal.Mine has headrests
Its funny how a car or two can change a view? I never liked the fastback look of 67s. But I'm warming nicely.GREAT CAR!!!!!
GREAT STORY!!!!!!
I don't mind vinyl tops on our Mopars with the exception being the 66/67 Chargers, for what ever reason on those cars, I really dislike them.
That was until I saw THIS CHARGER!!!!!
WOW, just out of this world!!!!!!
I have also preferred the 66, as I dislike the seat emblems, and LOVE the 66 full length console,
But the head rests on this 67, just make it work for me!!!!

Very nice looking car you have there. Mine doesn't look nearly as nice.
A long time ago, a friend of mine bought a set of 67 A body buckets with headrests, from an original 67 GT. He put these in his 67 Coronet 500.Thanks. Yes, 67 was the first year as an option. And there was a fellow I met at the 40th who had a 67 birthday special Charger with driver only headrest.
A body headrests were different from B body. You could get them on C body cars in 67 and those were the same as B body. Somewhere I have a pic of a Monaco or Polara 500 with buckets and the headrests.
And his 4 speed has manual brakes and manual steering!Great looking car, like all the documentation that came along with it. Thanks for sharing!
Did not know Chargers were offered with dog dish hub caps.
There is a red L code 4spd up here in MN. The owner also has a '66 4spd Hemi.
As crazy as this sounds I recall looking at a car for sale quite some time ago that had a pass only headrest. It was a friend who was interested in the car and I was just tagging along. Was supposed to be a all original one owner type deal. When I saw that it only had one headrest I immediately said "somebody changed out the drivers seat ". I recall the seller stated "no it came like that ". Anyway it wasn't till many years later I learned it was possible. Didn't believe it at the time Friend didn't purchase.Thanks.
