Anyone never made a bad decision?

Hell.. i'm going camping this weekend in a place that is about as far north as you can go in michigan... i already know it's a mistake (plus i hate camping, i bought a house so i don't have to sleep outside) Still gonna do it though.. 6 hour drive to pick up a trans.. and a friend wants to go camping so i suggested near where the trans is :)

Did you make that mistake today?
I did... Carbs make me feel like **** and make me fat.... yet...

I did pretty good.....a banana, handful of black grapes, a few pieces of black walnut, pecan, almonds and a hot dog.....but it was a 'chicken frank' :D
That's not bad at all.. i do food prep on sunday for all the weeks breakfast i have a scramble of eggs/sausage/onion/cheese.. but was craving something sweet... carbs are a ****** and hard to break away from

Maybe not buying that 1 of none, then 1 of 8 '67 Hemi Satellite I had three chances to buy for $500, $1500, and $3000.
...or that 1 of 10 '69 Hemi Road Runner convertible that the owner was asking $750 for and my friend traded his '77 Power wagon for.

My dad used to say, “ if you don’t make a mistake once in a while, you aren’t doing anything”. It’s the ones who claim they never makes mistakes that you gotta watch out for.

I've made many bad decisions and expect to make more - it is the people who tell me they've never made them that I get leery of..

Decisions are like a gun, some hit their target, some don't. I use a machine gun, at least the odds are some may hit.

Many, many bad decisions, including one trying to learn to speak French... "Comment allez-vous" ?

plenty of bad decisions… equal plenty of regret ! i’m still learning, usually the hard way …

my thoughts on a project car , at least when it is done ( if ever) i’ll know what’s under the paint ! i bought a pretty 68 RT years ago , more filler then steel underneath the paint . really disappointing….

Alot of bad decisions and still making them. I may learn one day.

bad decisions? let's look a little closer.........

the way I justify all the stupid things I have done; in my mind, anyway..........if I had done even ONE thing differently, or even a few minutes later, or sooner; I may have wound up in the wrong place at the wrong time and wouldn't be here to type about it.

I've always said that everything I do is for a reason. It might be the wrong reason but it's mine.

I also have a philosophy that when you get overwhelmed and don't know what to do, just do the next right thing. Then take it from there.

I’ve made a lot of bad decisions too that I’d like to forget, but I have some people in my life that remind me of them all the time. Family of course. But I look at it like hey, given the circumstances at that time and what I knew then, I feel I made the best decision at the time. Even if it was bad. And like others have said, if you learn from it, then it’s not a mistake.

Well… let’s see. I put in for this week off, back in the middle of July. I was thinking, first week of September… that ought to be comfortable, mid 70’s. It’s been 95 and humid all week here in the Philly suburbs. :(

:p
