Anyone tried dying leather?

I found a nice set of tan leather seats that I'd like to dye black. Has anyone ever tried doing this? How were the results? Would you do it again? What did you use?

Its all in the prep, They need to be real clean and you have to watch what you clean them with after. I recently had a 85 Ferrari 308 in the shop with a bad dye job, cleaning the seats removed a lot of the dye.


SEM makes some good products for dying.
