Mopar Performance starters: P5249644AB

Does it work well with headers? room on a big block?

Go to the bone yard and get one, Been running JY starters for over 12 years now on both vehicles with no problems!! Don't pay more than $50 for them. I'm using 2, 1 on a 383 and the other on a slant 6. Yes they work with headers. You may have to grind some, see here, http://www.moparts.org/Tech/Archive/elec/1.html

Well already ordered it so we shall see just need to get my tti headers and finish this task.

I just go to NAPA and get one for a 95 Dakota with a 5.2 for 80.00 and a warranty. Been using them for years on all my BB and Hemis.

I'm looking into getting a Denso 281-0109. Wondering if it's worked with tti headers on a 383
