My ‘68 Schwinn Krate Lemon Peeler in “Kool Lemon”.

It has the “Pogo Post” seat post that was recalled shortly after production started in ‘67. This bike is a February 1968 build.

That's as good as gold!

I had a Pea Picker when I was a kid. My mom found it at a garage sale. I thought I was the ****! That poor bike lost its life one day in a battle with a 68 Roadrunner, I was lucky the bike went under the car instead of me.

Pre Mopar I was heavily into Rampar (Raleigh) R10s. Heavy frame bike. Skyway Ii mags, Shimano brakes, California lite safety pads, Kasimax seat.
I still have my brother s bike, someday I will repaint and get some new tires. Many many miles on Rampar when life was easier.
I got my brothers Rampar when he received a PK Ripper. I was never impressed with that bike.
