As i continue my tire size search, i figured I'd ask this.....

Any rake that you put in the car reduces caster in the front end. A slight 1 inch rake is fine but tall tires and a lifted rear end will reduce the caster to near zero, you may not have enough adjustment in the alignment cams to compensate.

I had a set of tires/wheels years back serving little purpose lying around, 18"x10" wheels, and 295/35 tires. I threw them on a little 04 Tacoma PU auto DD, truck handled/stopped like a go kart. It wasn't fast but handled/stopped awesome. Truck today has 550+K miles. I did lose about a mile per gallon.

18 too modern. Personal taste I guess. 295/15 pictured.

That is what I like and have on the rear with several different sets of wheels.
