Ash tray door installation?

Thanks, remade it so it didn't have the damage from the pliers. To be honest it works well but not perfect so I wouldn't feel right selling them. I'm happy to post up my template to make it if some one wants it though.

Whats the size of those ball bearings?

Not trying to dig up an old thread but I just tried to put one of these back together today. Ball size is 11/32" in case anyone needs to replace them. Ordered a few on eBay.

Hi, can some one tell me how the ash tray door fits into the dash? That actual tray screws in no probs, the door just doesn't seem to slot in and hold in place?

Looking at the 'slides', there seem to be to 'female' guides. Is there a piece in between the two slides on the door and ash trays?

The slide assembly fits on the ash tray frame with 4 ball bearings and the door pops on over top of the slider. Here are a couple pics of what that piece looks like.
