Thank you for the nice welcome. Here is a picture from 16 years ago when I got it. It hadn't changed much appearance wise until a few months ago. It did go from a paper weight to a good driver over those years.

Welcome aboard from NC. Are you keeping it purple or going back original?

Definitely going back to original. B5 blue with black vinyl top, black RT stripe, and black interior. Not 100% sure about he wheels, thinking of going reproduction steel wheels and leaving them black. Then the dog dish hub caps. I could alway paint the wheels B5 blue later, but thought the black would look better.

Glad to hear that. When I read the original color combo, I was hoping you were. I like your thoughts on the wheels. I think matching B5 would look real sharp, but like you said try them in black and you can always paint them if you want to change the look.
