"B" Bodies With 17" Wheels.........Post Your Photos

Ah, yes I'd like a wider rear wheel too. Even at 17" X 8", it'll still be wider than the 15" X 7" steelies I have on now. The new 555's will give me more without having any real fitment issues. I do plan a mini-tub at some point but at least this way I can try something new out (upping performance and looks) and sort-out/plan on what to consider when going larger at 18" wheels/tires/brakes. My current brake setup works well, I may get a new set at some point (thinking Wilwood) and with the 17" wheels I can get a larger rotor in there. Enough to almost fill an 18" wheel, or I can just swap the rotors. I can do this and get it sorted first, then change over to 18" when I'm ready/able.

Yes, I did go with the Tire and wheel combo already mentioned.

Right on man. You're going to love the look. It takes the classic look of Torq Thrust wheels and puts a nice edge on it...

I tried the Nitto 555s on my Bee last year thinking it was an upgrade from the Federal tires I had for 10 years and they tracked terribly.
They caught every groove and crack in the road , even felt scary at times , felt like 4 flat tires . Went back to the Federal 555s I had before and back to 1 finger steering and precise cornering/drifting. I don't

know what was wrong with them , but more money doesn't always mean better.

Pricing on the Nittos were almost the same as what I paid for the BFGs. Got a deal on the Nittos as a package with the wheels. The BFGs are no longer stocked locally as not a lot of people request them now (5+ years ago, yes), so pricing isn't exactly on the cheap and I had to pay to ship them originally. And sometimes you just have to try things out first hand to see how they work...

Hey pro451bee I love the stance of your car.
What wheel and tire sizes are you running?
Did you have any fitment issues?
TIA

Anyone ever run 315s on the rear without tubs 68-70 b body?

Yeah, with the right rim backspacing they'll fit... But currently the only 315" available are 315/35-17's & those are way to short for a B body....

These are 315/45-17 but they aren't produced anymore

I've had 17 inch Fikse rims on my Coronet for about 25 years. I think I bought them back in 1995. I might have been one of the first to have 17 inch rims on a Mopar. Back then, nobody had rims that would fit my car so I had to have these custom made.

@1 Wild R/T , you had better hold onto those daisies/ 200s too. I went shopping for the new daisies or T70Rs and it looks like they aren't available anywhere. American racing doesnt even have them on their site. They look discontinued to me. Damn shame , lose two are my favorite wheel of all time, and now it looks like they are gone again!

Wild, I think I know what happened. I was searching for the one-piece daises with the machined lip. It is a different series than the two piece.
(Also, looking at the summit list...since when is a 15x12 cheaper than a 15x7?)

I like that 67 too, but can't find any info on it (just that one pic). I'd like to know what size wheels and tires those are.

@Larrry B. Love your new wheel/tire combo (but then I really liked the steelies/doggies too). Americans, US, or somebody else's wheels?
Edit: nevermind (in Rosanna Rosannadanna voice) just saw the previous post. DOH!
