B Body exhaust kits

Engine Masters dyno tested an engine with mandrel bent and "crunch" bent pipe. Don't recall the engine or CID, but I've not seen Freiburger, Dulcich, and Brule do less than 450hp. As I recall, their testing showed virtually no difference in the torque and hp curves.

Their video's on YouTube but I couldn't get the link to work w/o signing up for Max, which I did not do, so I could verify the engine and test results. When I tried to copy/paste it here it was blocked. Maybe you can watch it. Search "Mandrel- v. Crunch-Bent Exhaust".

I went with the TTI headers and exhaust kit, they are not far away, so I picked them up and didn't pay shipping. Installing the headers requires the front to jacked up as high as possible. There was some fussing with the pipes along the gas tank. Otherwise it was easy. I like the mufflers they have in the kit. Not too loud and not tinny.

If your car had single pipe, make sure you have the left side hanger before the axle. There are reproductions that fit like the right side.
