B-body rearend to A-body

anyone know how wide my 8 3/4 rear end in my 66 belvedere is?
Is all b-body 8 3/4 rear ends the same width?
and big question is how much shorter overall is a 8 3/4 rear end out of a A-body? 67ish dart i think....??

Not sure about the 62-65s but the 66-67's average from 1/2" to 3/4" shorter than the 68-70's.....

your 66 should be 59.25 from where the wheel bolts on to where the wheel bolts on and
an A body is 56.5 A body is about 2 and 3/4 " narrower than the one that is in your car. If you need an A body housing let me know Greg 937 765 0911

ok new idea, my dad forgot to tell me he has his original rear 8 3/4 out of his 64 belvedere...in comparison is this shorter? or same as my 66 belvedere? i wonder if spring purch's etc...are in same spot for an easy transition.
