Does anybody know what the weatherstriping / seals are called that mount on the back side of the front doors and up by the front window glass channels on the back side are called? They are attached to the door sheet metal with three sheet metal screws and fit over the upper end of the lower door weatherstriping.

My question is directed towards 1966 and 1967 B-Body Hardtop cars, but are most likely similar on other years and models. I have attached pictures below to show you what I'm talking about. Somehow I'm missing the one on my drivers door as shown in the picture.

Does anybody reproduce these parts?

Picture #1 and 2 show the drivers side door with the missing seal
Picture #3 shows the passenger side door with the seal in place

Thanks for yopur help!

Richard

There is a door end seal and a 1/4 pannel seal, make sure you get the right seal. They are completely different.

Lots of companies carry them and the prices vary widely, for the exact same part.

http://www.restorationspecialties.com/ has all the stuff reasonable.

(keep the quite:They are the source for the flee market and high dollar swap meet guys...saw them making deliveries at Carlise:grin: search by their part number and lots will show up.)

Hi OHD,

Thank you. Is the other seal that you're talking about, the quarter piller post end seal shown below? I have purchased new reproductions of those, but I was having a hard time finding the door mounted seals in my 66 parts book, but I think that I've found the correct replacements right?

I just bought a whole set of these from Year one for my 70 GTX. The front door one near the wing window is attached permanently to the entire door seal.

Cool. What brand of weatherstripping parts does Year One sell?
