B&M Quicksilver shifter stuck

Bad day at the track yesterday...........first pass it would not shift into 2nd. Shifts fine between P,N,R and 1st but no second or third. Disconnected the shifter cable and trans shifted through all gear positions so the problem is somewhere in the Quicksilver linkage, any thoughts on this? It's a reverse pattern manual valve body 727.

Did you look to see if the shifter is moveing the trans selector ?
If its moveing it I would say you have a stuck valve body.

Yes it is moving it but only as far as 1st gear, then when I take the C clip off and move the shifter cable by hand it goes through all the gear positions.
