Just got back from Daytonas' Turkey Run show, what a great get together of street rods and muscle cars.Left tuesday on Auto train from Lorton Va.with the 63 and arrived wednesday in sanford Fl. We checked in for the show at the speedway and took in some cruise-in get together at Bel Air Plaza on A1A.At the speedway on friday I met FBBO member"bluefury"with his wife who drove from Alabama to Daytona.Saturday we were welcomed at a show in Ormond Beach right on the Intracoastal waterway and sunday took the 63 to our winter place in Lake Placid Fl. with intent to hit some of the local shows this winter.

Santa, that '63 is very nice, but then I am prejudice. wish I could cruise around winter in a nice control climate.......I HATE SNOW.

Thanks "Sonny Black" had a red 63 like yours many years ago couldn't find another so the white one came up and we bought it.We have a few snowbirds from Chicago in our community that we are friends with just tag along and come on down.

Nice 63 Santa. Tell us a little about the Auto train, that is new to me. What is the cost , avalability, etc. or where we can get info on it.

I had the auto train all planned out to take up for Carlisle, but I kept coming up MUCH cheaper (and less time) to simply drive (even driving a rented car) :( too bad as I would LOVE to take the train.

IIRC it's like $500 each way.

Daytona Sounds like fun Santa, the train deal sound pretty cool too, any other photos ??, Hey aren't you supposed to be going North about this time of year...LOL....

To "pushrod" Auto Train only runs between Lorton Va. and Sanford Fl.leaves at 4pm and arrives next day at 9am ,as far as cost,a wide range is available,B bodies $200 extra because of size,if you want sleeper compartment thats extra,it cost me $1100 one way wife wanted a sleeper with toilet facilities shower and sink.Google Amtrak Auto train thts how I booked it,this was my second trip in 4 years.

To "65 Plymouth Satellite"It's nice to say you did it,saves 900 miles of driving.Four years ago we rode down with 4 classic cars all from Pa.

To "YY1"Cheaper to drive for sure but wear and tear on the car to consider.

To "budnicks" We left the 63 at our winter home and flew back, going down in january be back in april, and yes granpa's got to play santa.

Once you arrive at train station they take a video of your car to record its condition.
