I have a 73 Charger SE I looked in the manual but I can't figure out how you get the rear seat loose. I want to take the partical board rear speaker cover off and repaint it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Doug,

It can be a trick and can be tight. Start with the bottom. You have to push a little bit down and towards the back of the car. It should slide back just a bit to clear the hooks (don't have a pic but sure someone on here does). Once the bottom is out the back slides up and out.

I have a 73 SE car too but have modified it and removed the vinyl roof and louvers.

You may have to use your knees to push towards the back of the car and hands to push down and brace yourself against the front seats.

If no one posts a pic today I can try to take one for you tonight of the hooks.

Doug - here is a picture of one of the hooks I took. There are two for the bottom seat. Front of the car is to the right of the picture.

Hard to see but just up and to the right of the seat belt is the catch for the seat back.

Glad I could help. People on here have been so great to help me it is nice to be able to give back!

Congrats on getting/finding the build sheets...photograph/scan them if you can, just for safe-keeping.

Also, there was a B-body registry of sorts started here....https://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopa...73-74-plymouth-b-body-registry-thread.145808/...
please consider going in and adding your car's info.

I will do that thank you. Painted it one more thing accomplished lol.
