back up lighting??

HI,
My backup lights suck and I can't event tell when they are on when backing up at night.. I've even gotten some LED i thought as they said (off road use only) but even those are not what I thought they would be.. still can tell they are on??
Does anyone recommend a bulb .. its for a 1975 Fury

I think that they are to let someone else know that you are backing up!

Only back up lights that work great as flood lights are 69 Bees... other than that ^^^^^

Tim, I used these on my 71 Runner. I got them from Amazon.

This is how they look in the housing.

Then, combined with red LED's for the tail lights.

Now on the car...

Yes but they are also suppose to help you see backing up..at least all the other cars I've driven did.
