I wish this were not so, truly. I just got sent this gsuge, it applies to all work but this is a 66 charger coolant gauge. Customer sent it to another well known gauge shop. He put the cluster on the shelf for 10 months while the car was finished. Installed the gauge never had hooked it up. It didn't work. He called them they told him too bad 6 month warranty. He sent it to me. I opened it and this is what I found. I don't think like me or hate me anyone can call this acceptable work. I feel bad that this exists. I won't personally say who since he did not do work for me personally and I'm not bashing anyone. I don't need to to raise myself up. Sorry please don't ask who did this crappy work. Enough pics out there on the net and name thrown around it would not take you long to figure out who did it. The reason for this post is to raise awareness to inspect work, ask warr, see if they will stand behind the work, what products will be used. Nothing in this gauge is correct. Wrong wire, incorrect number of turns, soldered, (big nono) The second pic is what you want to see. Hopefully this helps others not get ripped off.

And yet you have no problem bashing this site on all the other sites you visit!!!

I was asked by a friend of mine who is on this site to show the after of what I did to repair it so you know what it should look like. Does not matter what gauge it is when you get it back open it up and this is what you want to see.

Not the site so much. Just the moderators.
Funny that you inserted the word 'hate'......as in "I still hate B bodies......" It's our job to enforce the rules that the site owner set up....and even he says that you need to have vendor status. There are 5 mods here and all of us are on the same page. Yes, the members here are awesome....well, the majority of them are.

Is there a Chiropractor in the house?

@Skatpak is in need of one from all the self-inflicted back-patting in this thread alone.
