About ten years ago my friend bought a 71 340 Cuda 4 speed Shaker hood car from Hawaii. He had the car shipped to the peir in LA. He flew out to LA and bought a 66 Imperial LeBaron he never drove before,bought a tow bar and flat towed the non running unregestered 71 Cuda over 3000 miles from LA to Connecticut! He got stopped by the cops twice,neither cop asked him for any registrations or paperwork on either car! Both cops just wanted to check out the Cuda! He paid $1500 for the Imperial and the car ran flawlessly for 3000 plus miles towing the Cuda. He put the 440 from the Imperial in a 70 Challenger convertible.
