I am a life long Cardinals fan and now that they have been elimenated. I don't think I can watch the series. I am pulling for the Tigers. Who is your favorite?

San Francisco Bay Area born and raised here - GIANTS ARE ON FIRE!!!

We were all rooting for them against the Reds and they came back against unbelievable odds and won 3 in a row on the road.

Similiar performance against the Cards in best of 7. Nobody had much faith in the Giants but us Giants fans. We're used to the TORTURE!!!

Now it's World Series Baby! The Tigers put their best pitcher in game 1 and - can you say CHOKE?! Zito with a near flawless game AND an RBI, Linceccum backing him up and throwing well for almost 3 innings, Sandoval with a record 3 home runs in one game!! GIANTS ARE ON FIRE!!! We are loving it.

LET'S GO GIANTS!!!

that's OK! I've been a Giants fan since the late 80's and we went for a LONG time without them winning much. It's still a great thing to be a baseball fan in America. Especially on a sunny summer day when you take a 1/2 day off work to go watch your team in person at the stadium and bond with the other fans giving hi-fives across the aisle.

Life long Red Sox fan here too..I did Map quest I was born .62 from Fenway...Now I know why I follow them 1000 miles away in Tampa and where my Yaz jersey to Rays games when Sox in town....I root for any American team..All-Star & World Series

I am in shock. The vaunted Tiger "bats" must have missed the plane. WTF? TWO EFFING SHUTOUTS?!?!?! You guys couldn't hit Baumgardner,whose pitches couldn't reach 90mph with a tailwind and a 150 shot? They hit Vogelsong last night,but left those guys stranded every inning. WTF?

Thing is;I don't hate the Giants. They're not a bunch of hot dogs or prima donnas. Watching them play the game is enjoyable. Their winning the WS would be great-but not at the expense of my Tigers!!! I think this may be Leyland's last Hurrah;he doesn't hit or field,and the ones supposed to aren't or can't.

Rough day for Michigan sports fans;the Spartans won(YEAH!),but everyone else lost(BOO!). This may drive me to drink again.



...Oh,Mar;I like you. I don't like the (White) Sox. Never have,never will. Goes back to 1968;went to my first Tigers game,and watched the Sox put a 12-0 drubbing on my Bengals(what they get called around these parts). I love the city of Chicago;hate the South Side Sox.
