Television Shows

My elderly dad has the TV on in the back ground
from 9-ish am to 10-10:30pm
sits on his *** & watches old westerns, getting sick of old westerns
same ****/reruns seen 20 times each, day after day after day
I never thought I'd say that, I'm sick of old westerns

Yellowstone was my favorite, thanks to that douche Kostner
it's not been aired for a while not new anyway
1924 & 1883 (or is it 1886 ?) prequels to Yellowstone, were pretty good
supposed to be a couple good ones coming out sooner or later
without (Cheney lover) Kostner :poke:
1944 supposed to be Kurt Russel & 6666 (4 sixes) another couple of
Yellowstone Dutton family ranch
spin off prequels

I hate any dead ****, zombies or vampire or blood/guts & gore fake nonsense
I'll change it as fast as I can

I don't watch a lot of TV now, but I still hear it thou

Usually later at night when dad's in bed
FETV, METV, AntennaTV, oldies you name it it's on them 3
Grit (old westerns), a crapload of oldies TV now

I used to love
Cheers, Happy Days, Mash, Emergency, Adam 12, Soap, Benson
I Dream of Jeanie, Partridge Family, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Tales of Wells Fargo,
Have Gun will Travel, Wanted Dead or Alive (Steve McQueen), Cheyan

I watch a lot of old movies (X1 stuff) more than sitcoms or shows
or
On reg TV, mostly Motortrend TV, or Newsmax or Fox News now
Gutfeld is funny as hell

I have Xfinity X1, I got a lot of old shows to be able to watch
(I find older TV way way better than :gay: crap they force feed US all now)
or stuff only on (www) Tubi, Freeve, Awesome, old races NHRA SCTA IHRA AHRA
there's literally hundreds if not thousands of apps
albeit I hate anything NBC affiliates but I do watch some Paramount, Peacock shows
usually all DVR'd
Youtube on occasion, if not somewhere else 1st, stuff not on elsewhere
I'm not a big fan of them, all the censorship crap :blah:

Been watching old reruns of Engine Power or Detroit Muscle
the old Speed/Velocity network stuff
on the -www- X1 apps

I don't do any other social media, than here or occasionally
spend too much time on the 'puter'
one of Joey's other sites Trucks or RRs site
browse the -www- for parts or guns/stuff

My Mom used to watch CSI shows repeatedly. But she had dementia before she died. So couldn't recall whether she had seen any given episodes.

One of the best ever.

You know I never considered this.
My Ma watched this, I was too young at the time to really pay attention. I was a farm kid. There is a combine in the intro lol. That's what stuck with me for 40 years :)
I might have to look this up somewhere. I remember all the faces. Just not any of the story told.

I started from the Who shot J.R. episode.

Married with children, unhappily ever after, that 70s show, The X files, Greg the Bunny, Home Improvement, the Big Bang Theory.
Great to see someone else that knows of Greg The Bunny. If you haven’t seen them yet I think that you would also like Father of the Pride and Hidden Hills. Similar humour and favourites in our family.

I'm going to search for Kelly's Heros this evening....been years since seeing it but have watched it about 3 times in the past.

We just binged our way through Hell on Wheels again. That show remains in my opinion to be of the highest
quality, from the setting (they had the run of the entire T'suu T'ina Native Indian Reservation via a lease agreement
to build all the elaborate, period-correct sets, not to mention a friggin railroad!) to the writing and the acting, of course.
Just a really impressive, professionally done series from top to bottom.

I’m not one to watch a series, but that was a good one. We got turned onto it when we were staying with friends in Florida last March and binge watched it in about a week when we got back home.

The wife and I watch TV at dinner and keep it on in the background until bed time.
We watched Severance, it was about a group of people that entered a program where their memories were split between work and home. When at home, they had no recollection of what they did at work. At work, they knew nothing of their selves or lives on the outside. Season 2?is expected in January next year.
It is a weird and dystopian concept for a show. Imagine that your work self has nothing to look forward to after the day is done. Imagine your outside self thinking that your work isnt anything to be proud of.

everyone knows
happy days

but what about
laverne and shirley

I watch Happy Days on one of the retro networks sometimes. It's still good.
Laverne and Shirley, I always found hit and miss. Sometimes I would laugh out loud at things and sometimes felt the episode was a dud. I think the ratio of one of the women whining non-stop to dud-i-ness had correlation..........
