Here is the run numbers. My nose is down when I go by. I dumped a little (about 1mph) cause I thought I had him. But as we can see he had me by about 8". Watch the video above to get an idea of the closing rate. Typical race between us.

Great data! I have learned (the hard way) how fast a low 9 second closes on a 10.50 car. At the 1000ft I am ahead by 37 ft, no way he can close that in the last 320ft. Wrong, that 16mph difference at the stripe is big. No way do I lift, hope I cut a good light and dialed right. Once I got in high gear I watched him until I got close to the stripe then watched it and him.
