Because we don't have enough advertising around...

Just another way to waste money on doing the study....

Ive heard about this and thought the whole thing was a joke someone sent around. I also heard they may allow cable and satellite systems a scroll on the bottom or top of the screen that constantly will advertise everything we cant live without, I thought this also was a joke and now it just may be true. we need more don't ya know.

Mama always told me K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid.

She also said life is like a box of chocolates...lol

Yea, that's all we need. Something else to take our attention away from what we're supposed to be looking at while driving.
And they wonder why California is in so much dept? We actually pay people to come up with stuff like this, then pay more to do a study only to find out it will cause more accidents..........DUH!! :BangHead: :violent1:

well.. this is why they do it:

1) paying people to come up with this substantiates their purpose in state government and provides a liberal-based resume builder

2) paying people to do a study on this allows the state government to create false statistics showing how much this will increase revenue for the state by allowing advertisers to pay the state to use their system

3) more accidents cause higher insurance claims which leads to (A) more hospital visits which in turn leads stimulating the health industry (B) accident claims which increases premiums thus stimulating the auto insurance industry

and lastly

4) the politician and his/her croonies and lobbyists will be receiving HUGE MONTHLY PAYMENTS from the insurance companies, health care lobbyists, advertising agencies, and companies from everywhere using this product

so you see, it makes perfect political and economic sense to go forward with this service as it is entirely intended to stimulate the economies of the richest 1% in power. money rolls down hill right? :icon_hang:
