Currently on the Glass portion of the project, Hopefully It dosnt send me into a state of jelly brain....

Hoping to get it on the road this summer, I bought the car in 16, Dads actual car is about 1/2 hr drive south east of me and is sitting in the trees where its sat since 80. Wont sell... so I did the next best thing, I actually found a real Bee the same color, I just added Dads options.

I Built it into a N 96 car, and as a Vinyl top car, but other than that its the same car, well not really, but close enough for me...

Sorry for the photo BOMB, but am getting quite excited for the finished project!... Had a guy in Arizona do me up a fender tag for the car, Afrer I signed off I realized that I screwed up the paint code, as a 70 code... Second tag is Dads favorite slogan he coined himself in Sturgis! LOL

The car isnt a show car, and I havent even cut and buffed on it, other than fixing 2 lil sags by the passenger front side marker light, and the passenger front door edge.

Again SORRY for the lot of pixs, Ill post more as I go, now that I thoroughly like this platform VS Moparts platform...

Great tribute to your Dad ~ Outstanding car
They called Dad "putt" because he never drove slow, So Im putting "4 PUTT" on the plate, No only for Dad, but I SUCK at golf... Fitting!

Im on the Alumni committee in my small town, and this year is Dads 50 year class reunion, Done or Not, its gonna be on a trailer in the Parade!

With the intake Im running on the 383 based engine, and using a carb spacer, I needed to cut the base plate to make things work. NOT wanting to cut up a factory shorter 440 base plate, I found a roached out air grabber style base plate cut it to work, and just used an oval filter on it. worked great!

That is one great looking car, I love the color as well. Glad to see you didn't buy your rump stripe from Phoenix Graphics.

I did actually, and Im not really happy with it, its not labeled front or back, and has a slight forward bow to it, I know its there, but its hard to see unless you know it. And I bought the shitty gel they recommend to use on install, I reverted to my "rapid tach" decal solution Ive used for years. Had a few bubbles, but in the sun they went away quickly.
