Before & after

Well it's not going fast enough for me. But he likes his triathlon thing and spends a lot of time training for those. He thinks it will go down the track in 2014 for its 50th anniversary. But we'll see. But on a side note I have the hemi (seen in picture) we may need to have you duyo & tune. It was assembled 4 or 5 years ago and I think I need a controlled start up for it. Any thoughts?

Never been run since the build 4 or 5 years ago?

I'm back, had to go to Great Falls, MT.

Hemi is a big investment, I think it should be taken down far enough to test the valve springs if they've set that long in one position, relube the cam if it's flat tappet, and make sure the cylinderwalls haven't rusted from heating and cooling condensation. Then broken in on the dyno to check it out before installing in the car.

My opinion only, none of that must be done and it could turn out just fine.

The cam and cylinder walls would be my first concern and would be worth tearing down and checking out if it's sat that long. Otherwise, you'll spend the same money twice if something goes wrong on the dyno.

That was what I thought also. I will be in touch this summer to formulate our master plan.
