This is a cool car. My father in-law-did all the machine work on this engine back in the day when it was setting records. Worked on the rear and many other mechanical parts as well. He was co-owner of Shaw's Speed Shop.

Don’t disagree but since you don’t know the person I am comparing him too.....then you don’t understand the comparison and hence is why you posted....Richard Cranium said: ↑
Unlike post-whore Car Nut, I'll show my own works.

You'll get there! Hang in there and keep at it!View attachment 659280 View attachment 659281. I feel like I’m going the wrong way , my after don’t look as good as you guys’!
thanks ! My post was to be funny but I do get frustrated and ponder giving up. Hard to juggle work , home projects, family, fun, etc. Then I see some of the posts on here and somehow I get a little fire again, however the older I get the smaller the fire gets. You'll get there! Hang in there and keep at it!
Thank you very much for the encouragement and taking the time to post !I hear you. The big thing is to turn the corner and start getting parts back ON the car. That's when it gets exciting and the fire starts building.
Just set a minor next goal: not driving it, but finishing some detail. Then post it and brag about what you did! This will help keep the morivation.
Good luck!
