Is there a difference in bellhouse for 383 or 440. and size of clutch 10.5 -11 I have 11 now I was told make sure I get the right bell, fly wheel is 143 teeth 14.5" across, and will have a issue with starter. last time I delt with stock bell was 1978 I've been running a blowproof since then. Thanks for any help

No difference between a 383 and a 440. What you want is a p/n 2892262 (1968) or a p/n 2892626 (1969) which are 11" bell housings. They are functionally identical and either will work. Prices typically range from $225 to $350.

al383, FWIW I just bought one from Tony's for $325 plus $32 shipping to our neck of the woods.
