My front suspension is my next restoration step on my '69 Charger. I'm curious what is the best bang for my buck? My plan, as of now, is to just restore all my part and change bushings and whatever else can't be restored. I will end up putting discs on the front brakes, but I don't want to spend a fortune on changing up the suspension. As you can see from the pics, nothing is bent up or rusted out. Just needs cleanup and new paint. But if there are some reasonably priced new front suspension that would make the car handle better I'd like to know. I will have a 440 as the heartbeat. Any input would be greatly appreciated.:steering:

By the Spicer/Raybestos Professional "Blue" Series suspension kit (ball joints, tie rod ends, etc). Get rubber bushings unless you plan to carve corners, then get urethane. Get Bilstein shocks. Get Firm Feel or Steer n Gear steering box. Clean everything and paint or have it powder coated.

My suspension rebuild kit. http://www.billrolikenterprises.com/proddetail.asp?prod=204

Second that!

Also reach to PST for suggestions, they are a vendor on the site. May even chime in here.
Im going to be doing mine at some point and decided to go the polygraphite route. Seems to be the happy medium between rubber and polyurethane...

Thanks Will Do

Poly-graphite is polyurethane impregnated with graphite.

Built in lubricant, so no squeaks.

I just had the PST super rubber kit, Bilstein shocks and subframe connectors installed and it made a dramatic difference in my 69 Charger!!! Besides the procar rally seats I installed, this made the next most dramatic change to the driving enjoyment, and it's a very close second. Highly recommend the PST kit and Bilsteins.
In addition, my shop blasted and painted/poweder coated the front suspension components they removed and they look great!

Below is a link to our website with your vehicle information already in and pointing towards the front kits that we offer. As mentioned above we offer two types of materials ( Rubber or Polygraphite) in our bushings. The rubber is a for OE replacement. Where polygraphite is for better performance and handling as it deflects less than traditional rubber. As per the contents of the kits we offer a standard or super kit depending on your needs. Please let me know if you have any questions.
