Im gonna order up a set of TTI Shorty headers for my 440, lots of members seem to be having good luck with them..Is their any header gasket that is far superior than any of the others for sealimg..My block still has the exhaust studs in it so i ordered some locking nuts from stage 8 and gonna do the same for the header flange to the exhaust flange.

What does TTI sell/recommend to use with their headers?

I STRONGLY recommend Remflex gaskets. I had leaks with the stock gaskets that came with my Doug's and ordered both a set of Percy's aluminum (as some will recommend) and the Remflex....

Used the Remflex as they are nice thick graphite and they got the job done no leaks!

No gaskets will work very good if the flanges are not smooth and flat. I have a set of TTI's hanging and they are some of the nicest ones I've seen but it's always a good idea to make sure.

X2 on the Remflex gaskets. I've been using them for several years with good results.

I run the percy's never have had a leak and I reuse them many times on different engines and headers.
