Wondering what ya guys are running for headers, and what should i be aware of/look out for ?

also why wont the 1967 headers fit ?...Thanks ! !

Depends if you want long tube or shortys...
I like thorleys but have heard good things about TTI also

the engine in a 62-65 b-body sits in a different location than a 66-70. i use a complete headers to tailpipe TTI system in my 65 coronet and wouldn't consider anything else.

Cool thanks ! i forget the 62~65 engine sits forward,

Years ago a friend gave me a set of Hookers that were for a 66-70 B body. I had a 65 Belvedere that was all apart so I tried them to see if they would fit just for grins. Not even close.

I tried a set of Hookers in mine and no luck. I shelled out more money for TTI's and they fit like a glove! No problems at all!!!!

It's my understanding you can swap in the 66-70 k-member to move the motor back like 1 1/2 inches. Don't know if there would be firewall issues though.

Hedman 78030 fit the 440 in my '63 perfectly!

They drop right in and tuck up under the car nicely too!

Much cheaper than TTI's!

I have tti' in my 63 Plymouth and my 65 dodge coronet. they fit great. they ate under chassis headers that do not go through fender well.
pretty heavy headers, the 2nd #2 header bolt is a little trickey to get in. you have to put it in 1st iirc.then put all other ones in

Thanks moparsmitty ! i've been know to try things that others say wont work, but i think i'll stay clear of this one, HEHEHE

sounds like the TTI's is the way too Go !
