I definitely have got to throw a 55 Chevy in my top-five, one of the most iconic cars ever built. I rank it above the Chevelle’s, the Camaros and the Vettes.
Well, if the original question had included "American" in front of the word 'car', then I would have said a midyear - 63-67 - Corvette. Does that count?Disregarding the fact this is a Mopar forum, and all opinions are welcome, I’m a little surprised at no mention of a tri-five Chevy or Corvette so far.
since I was about 11 yrs old, there was a 1960 ford drag car that someone in our neiborhood was running, I loved the way that car looked and set, name of the car was Thunder, solid black two door hardtop, amount of chrome, just right, strange for a time of glitz and shiny junk on cars. this was 1960 and 61, still see that car rumbling around the hood in my mind. 1960 ford Starliner tudor hardtop, prettyist car that has ever been built. (childhood loves) DaveChoose only one please. I know everyone has thought about what they perceive to be the best looking car ever produced. I am 57 years old and I have had an obsession with cars since I was 4 years old. I have had favorites from time to time but it always comes back to my first love as being the most aesthetically pleasing. 1969 Plymouth roadrunner

I concur. The ‘67 Belvedere is iconic to me, as this is the car Richard Petty drove to the never broken record of 27 wins in 1967.Well, if the original question had included "American" in front of the word 'car', then I would have said a midyear - 63-67 - Corvette. Does that count?

Just going to say it. The 70 Charger is easily the best looking 2nd Gen. Charger! Better Colors, Better interior, just better options!!!
I’d love to have them all but right now I’m sending both of my kids through college and my 18 year old boy just started loving older cars. He wanted a Monte SS so I bought him an all original paint and interior 83 except the rims and I’ll probably have to buy the Family’s 55 210 off of my brother to keep it in the family. Yeah I know a couple of Chevys lol but I want my boy to have his own taste but he does loves Mopars also. The Monte was a good buy and a cheaper investment that’s climbing in price.I tend to agree with you on that, but all three years have their own things about them that make you want all of them! So that is why I have all three years of them! I have four 70 Chargers though, and my parents bought a 70 Charger R/T SE brand new,so maybe I am a bit biased towards the 70 Charger!

Cord/Auburn hybrid
Since the Chevelle came first, dare I say that the Gen2 GTX shared many lines with it?That's understandable, as it shares many lines with the second generation GTX.
