Best trunk weather strip adhesive?

What do people recommend these days as adhesive for attaching new trunk seal/weather stripping in a 1971 Charger?

Can of contact cement or permatex weather strip tube in yellow, just like factory. No need for clothespins! 20 minutes and done!!

I've used 3m weatherstrip adhesive , it's ok. you want something that sticks immediately no waiting to cure. Get vinyl top adhesive contact cement. Brush both sides with an acid brush let it set for a bit and once they touch it's set for good.

Way better then 3m adhesive

Works great.
I don't know if it's any cheaper than the 3M stuff.
