He told me last week he had PayPal and that he sent money. It never showed in my account I told him that and then he says it may take awhile. Last contact I had was Friday then he contact's me this morning saying that his bank sent money. Nothing in my PayPal, then he says it will take two more days. After that I don't want to deal with the guy.IF his money shows in my account he will get it back. I sure don't want to deal with shipping anything to this guy.

Wait, so like I said, it is PAYPAL holding this up, not @xman. I think you owe him a HUGE apology. If you're not willing to do that, I think you should be banned from this site.

Yes XMAN was my dad. Hell he still is. This is his son. I have always did my dads computer work AKA buy parts, sell parts on here. We love this site, good guys, helpful, sell good parts etc. My dad has owned a lot of GTXs & that's why I used the name XMAN on here. I know how things work when it comes to buying & selling on here & A bodies only. This just rubbed me the wrong way. UNREGISTERD was paypals words not mine. As for clown, retard name calling he should feel lucky he isn't dealing with my dad.

I'll be curious to see if you get your money back.....

From what I under stand is the money will show up in my paypal just as if I put money into my paypal account. Then I will have to transfer it back into my bank account. I better get it back. $650 is a lot to me. If not **** will hit the fan lol

This guy is a scammer. He has been trying to buy the Magnum 500 rims I have for sale for a week and tells me he sent money thru PayPal and then his bank is transferring it. Typical BS.

A scammer and someone that backs out of a deal are two totally different things. I've dealt with scammers and this doesn't sound like a scam.
A couple of years ago I sold a pair of 66 Charger doors. I live in Rhode Island and he lived in Michigan. He had a tough time trying to get payment to me. It was going back and forth. I finally got payment but he couldn't get anyone to pick them up so he asked if I could hold them for a few weeks. They were paid for so I said no prob. He made the trip himself and we all lived happily ever after.

I had a weird thing happen to me a few years back with PayPal. The guy I sold parts to kept saying he sent payment and I told him I had nothing on my end. He then said well it's no longer in my account and I said but it's not in mine either. I could sense him getting irritated as was I. A day later he sent a message after contacting PayPal and somehow he optioned to send a check from PayPal instead. About 6 days later his payment arrived in the mail.

In the electronic age, some things are just not done hand to hand where you can clearly see what is happening. I have trouble with computer stuff....I would guess that many others do as well.
If you met the man face to face and he kept stalling you, you would just sell to the next guy with the money, right? Why not adopt the same principles here?
Back when I was single, If a woman kept putting me off when I asked her out, I wouldn't dwell on it...I'd move on to another. How desperate are you that you'd waste time like this?
15 years ago I had a car that I wanted to sell. I took calls from all over on the car. This one guy from GUAM would call and rape my ear for hours. Finally he quit calling. I learned from that....Sometimes a deal that you want just does NOT happen. Also, some guys love cars but never buy, they just waste your time.
