Big block power steering brackets or???

**Update/I need an adult…”**
I got my brackets in from 440Source and after lowing my IQ staring at my TRW pump and brackets I’m convinced they’re not compatible. I’d love to be convinced I have a compatible setup but the math ain’t adding up to me. Anyone know if I need a different bracket set, different pump? I don’t mind buying a new pump but only if I need to. FWIW, the site says those brackets are compatible with all but Federal pumps. Thanks guys.

I believe those fit a Saginaw? All the pump brackets from 440 source i have seen are saginaw only. Not going to fit a trw. I'd rather have a Saginaw, they have better steering feel when I have used them.
The big and small trw pumps have different brackets. Guessing these are for the larger pump.

Thanks for the quick response. I think where I went astray was my google search stating a TRW is a Saginaw style. The link you sent looks exactly like my small block bracket set that is too “narrow” for the water pump housing. Do you happen to know if this is the case? Same look/style, with a wider bracket flange?

That link is for a larger TRW. Easy way to tell is the hex hole in the shaft. The big TRW front bracket will bolt on your smaller pump but the back mount has to be modified to work. Which is what I did on one car. But the saginaw is different. Trw I have seen called Thompson.

At least I haven't seen the bb mounts new...yet. Maybe someone has.
That makes sense. Perhaps it’s time for a Saginaw. Thanks again

Maybe this one fits a small trw? I would have to look at my pump tomorrow to know for sure.

It appears to me, that the pump he has in his picture is a 65 and earlier pump with a 5/8 inch return hose nipple. For 66 and later the power steering return line is 3/8". I think his steering box return nipple is 3/8 inch also on his car from what I can see.
I believe the 5/8” return pump was also used through 66 and went to 3/8” in 67. I went through this in the process of swapping my 66 Sat over to PS. You have to have a contro valve on the box that matches the pump in either case.
